Math Mates
Calling All Volunteers!  We need parents and community members to sign up to help 4th and 5th graders learn their math facts.  If you would like to learn more about becoming a Math Mate, contact Kelley Webb at webbk@fultonschools.org.

Math Maniacs
Don't forget to turn in your Math Maniacs worksheets to the front office by October 5!  A new sheet will be coming home Thursday. 

These problem solving activity sheets are aligned to the curriculum the students are learning and prepare them for the CRCT.  This year we have also added a challenge problem.

Woodland Elementary's 40th Birthday Party!

Come join us on Friday, October 21 at 6 pm to help us celebrate Woodland's 40th birthday!  There will be numerous special guests including former principals, teachers, and students.

Important Assessment Dates

October 24-28:  Iowa Test of Basic Skills (3rd and 5th grade only)

March 7:  5th Grade Georgia Writing Assessment

March 19-30:  3rd Grade Georgia Writing Assessment

April 11-18:  CRCT (Grades 3-5 only)

Test-Taking Tips

Go to bed by 8 pm each night.

Arrive at school by 7:30 am.

Eat a healthy breakfast every morning.

Be confident.  You can do it!
